LEAN Strategic Policy Deployment (SPD)

Successful LEAN implementation means involving your entire organization starting down the path to a LEAN thinking culture. The purpose of Strategic Policy Deployment is to align every employee's daily activities to pursue the True North goals of the organization. (True North is the core strategic vision of the organization, and usually it includes three (3) key focus areas). This course will change how you approach your strategic planning process to set alignment to True North goals.

A3 is a simple & distilled story that is easily read and understood by all levels of an organization. It is the vehicle to establish alignment for tactical actions, and it provides a common format for planning and problem-solving.

The catchball process is all about clear and open communication. This communication will bring the True North Goals of your organization to employees at all levels.

The main goal of the catchball process is that every employee can confidently state that, "I know how my daily actions contribute to the True North goals of my organization."
