The WIOA Dislocated Worker Program is one of three federal programs funded through the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act to assist workers in finding meaningful, family-sustaining employment. Eligibility information and list of services provided are below. How to Apply

To apply to the WIOA Dislocated Worker program, contact the appropriate WIOA Dislocated Worker subcontractor, listed on our Partners page.

Eligibility

You may be eligible for the Dislocated Worker program if you meet any of the criteria below:

• Have a permanent layoff from a job with no recall date
• Have been laid off or received notice of layoff due to a plant or facility closing
• Was (or are) self-employed as a farmer or trade or business person and are in the process of "going out of business"
• Was providing unpaid services to family members in the home and were dependent on another family member, but are no longer supported by that income.
