5S Workplace Organization
5S organization - (sort, straighten, sweep, standardize and sustain), maintains good housekeeping practices. The objectives are to remove the need to search for material and tooling and create an atmosphere that allows team members to perform as efficiently as possible with little distraction. Once the work environment is organized, then standardized work methods and rules can be applied to keep every operation running smoothly. This course typically runs three eight-hour days in duration.
